History

Founded by Rebecca Donnelly MBE with help and support from key people, the charity started on a small scale of delivering boxing from an old run-down school building once a week.  With leaking roof and ring and a handful of gloves and bags the classes soon grew and the venue was later transformed into what is now the Black Prince Hub.  The sessions steamed from Rebecca own background as former Muay Thai world champion and later England boxing national champion.  Personal circumstances lead Rebecca to have a keen passion for Gangs intervention programs working with some of hardest to reach young people using boxing as a tool to get them on the right track. This journey led to Rebecca being awarded an MBE is 2015 for services to community and sport.
